Anybody with me? I'm in a slump. I'm not motivated and I want to eat. Like lots of bad food. It's been one of those crazy weeks, and life is not about to slow down anytime soon.
So here's what I'm doing today to try to fix it:
1) I'm putting it out there. I know if I write about it, I'll get some encouragement from you guys to keep me on track.
2) I'm going back and reading my original blog posts. They remind me of WHY I'm doing what I'm doing. I have to remember WHY and I need to look at my "before" picture again to remind myself that I'm not okay with the way I am now.
3) I'm researching for new recipes that are healthy but still make me want to eat them.
4) I'm going back to my easy, week 1 goals--especially about drinking more water and less soda. I've definitely fallen off the bandwagon there. It's easy for me to do when I can use a headache as an excuse to need the caffeine.
5) I'm planning to do some extra cooking tomorrow to have some meals and snacks on hand that fit into my plan.
What's going on with you in Week 4? Are you struggling like me or doing well? If you're struggling, I encourage you to make a plan to overcome it. Go back and revisit your "why" to help you get back into gear. Put it out there that you're struggling so we can encourage you. No matter how rough of a week (or however long) it's been, it's not too late to start making better decisions!

Week 3 Results
Week 3 came and went. Still lots of time left to join the challenge and make changes in your own life. My official weigh in had me down one more pound, for a total of 12. It was kind of sad because before the weekend, I was showing down at least 14 pounds total. Guess that shows you what a bad weekend can do!
The holiday weekend was definitely a struggle for me. My parents came in for a visit and we ate--a lot. Chinese buffet, cinnamon rolls, philly cheese steaks. Not to mention the fact that my mom brought a box of the best potato chips in the world to me. I have a bit of a weakness for them! Haha.
Regardless, it's a new week and better choices will be made this week!
Thursday marks the one month point on our journey! I'm excited that I've made as much progress in one month's time and I'm looking forward to seeing if the pictures show any change. My clothes definitely feel better, which is fabulous! Got a few more pounds to go before my old favorite jeans will fit--which is good since my new faves are too big now :)
Hope you're having a good week! I'm off to eat a few chocolate chips to help curb a PMS craving. Wish me luck!!
